Would you like to create a website where you can not only host your comics, but have full creative control over your design, subscribers, comments, and monetization?
Well you’ve come to the right tutorial. In this updated “how to create a web comic website tutorial” instead of starting from scratch we’ll be working with a fully built, and functioning comic website that I created especially for you guys.
This time we’ll mostly be focusing on designing our website with images, and colors that best reflects our comics.
We’ll be customizing our homepage, episodes archive page, comic posts page, characters page, about page, and blog.
For this tutorial you’ll need:
- A stable internet connection
- A domain name (which is optional, but it’s better for professional comic websites)
- I recommend using namescheap for your domain name. It’s one of my favorite domain name registrar
- Hosting (in this tutorial we’ll be using a free trial of flywheel so you won’t need it straight away, but after the trial ends you will need hosting for your website to stay online)
